Ministries

Sunday School:

Sunday school gathers each Sunday at 9:45am in classrooms stretching across our educational facilities. We provide age-appropriate classes with Bible study, prayer support, ministry projects, and fellowship so everyone can learn more about the truth of God’s Holy Word.

Sunday School Leaders with Room Numbers

Women’s Bible Studies:

Throughout the year, our women hold Bible studies that are challenging, current, and focused on creating a relationship with Christ.

Brotherhood/ Men’s Group:

Our Brotherhood men’s group has a breakfast meal on a bimonthly basis to promote fellowship, spiritual service, and growth opportunities within our church family and community.

Mission Organizations:

Clarkesville Baptist Mission Groups gather on Wednesday nights following our weekly meals.

Preschoolers - Preschoolers participate in choir/musical training followed by “Mission Friends.” We continue to try to teach our children the importance of “Mission Work” throughout the world in order to direct the world to Christ.

Children - The children gather after their music rehearsal time for GA, or “Girls and Guys in Action” and a RA, “Royal Ambassadors.” These age groups discover the importance of missions throughout the world through Bible study and mission achievement projects.

Youth - Our youth attend a Bible study class as well. You would be amazed at the depth of their Biblical understanding and desire for practical application. They gather on a regular basis for off-campus fellowships, mission-related activities, mission trips, and local ministry projects for church members and our community.

WMU Groups: Women’s Missionary Groups

We have morning and evening WMU Groups:

• The Morning WMU Group meets on the first Monday of each month for Bible study and the first Tuesday of each month for prayer`
• The Evening WMU Ladies Group meets on the second Tuesday night of each month

Senior Adults:

Our Senior Adult Ministry is open to anyone who feels that they’ve reached this age group. We strive to provide opportunities for personal and spiritual growth, strengthen our church family through fellowship and outings, carry out ministry opportunities within our community, and continue to serve our Lord and His Church.

Our senior group is currently is involved in weekly “Stretch and Flex” sessions, which gather on Monday mornings in the Family Life Center.

Music Ministry:

Come join our Sanctuary Choir! We gather for practice in the choir room every Wednesday evening from 7:20 to 8:00 PM. We also hold a Sunday morning practice at 9:30 AM.

Children’s Ministry:

We’re growing and revamping our children’s ministry here at CBC! The church currently provides age/grade appropriate Sunday School Classes every Sunday Morning, and Children’s Church is provided for kids starting at age 4 and lasting until 3^rd grade.
